Her proudest moment as an actress was being apart of earning the African American Women in Cinema’s Global Audience Award with her lead role in the independent short film, Lighten Up (Directed by Zubaidah Guy).
As a singer, Vesta has sung in many musical theater productions and back-up for artists. She is also a recording artist in her own right and is currently writing for her own venture.
She has performed as a dancer both nationally and internationally with various artists and companies, and has trained in modern, tap, jazz, latin (salsa, merengue, bachata), hip-hop and West & South African (Djimbe, Kutiro, Sabar) dance. Her most memorable performances are those danced on the stages of Lincoln Center, Aaron Davis Hall and the United Nations; in addition to the various stages she has touched while on tour.
In addition to being an actress and dancer, Vesta is also a passionate choreographer and has choreographed live performances for artists Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers and Olivia (former R & B singer of G-Unit), as well as many others. Vesta continues to evolve as a creative being and is exceedingly grateful to all those who have contributed to her journey. Feel free to follow he journey on instagram and twitter @envisionvesta
